Novice RetrieverGet In Touch
We host several events throughout the year to advance both you and your dog’s development in preparation for the shooting season or competitions, or simply for a delightful day out.
These events are open to all dog breeds Beginners Novice and Experience dogs and owners capable of retrieving a dummy.
Whether you’re a novice handler or an experienced one, our primary aim is for everyone to relish the experience and feel free to pose questions on the day.
Our Simulated Picking Up event is occasionally held in the charming Rutland area, either on sugarbeet fields woods land or other suitable locations.
If you gather a team, together we can also arrange to come to your location.
During these events, we facilitate various retrieves using automated dummy launchers and blind retrieving. Please be aware that there will be loud noises from the dummy launchers.
The experience is designed to replicate a shooting drive and picking up scenario, offering an exceptional opportunity for both you and your dogs.
Participating in this event significantly contributes to enhancing your dogs’ steadiness and their ability to interact with other dogs in a social setting.
We understand that everyone progresses at their own pace, ensuring that you and your dogs can build confidence for attending shoots or competitions if that’s your aspiration.
Furthermore, our events offer a friendly and welcoming environment where you can connect with like-minded individuals who share your passion for dogs and outdoor activities.
It’s a splendid opportunity to socialise while enjoying quality time with your furry companions.
